Experience in strategic planning

We have strong experience assisting organizations in advancing their mission, achieving their goals and capitalizing on opportunities. BCI’s teams have provided strategic planning services at a variety of organizations, including:

  • At American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), BCI led the development of a Client Organization Strategy Assessment (COSA) for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) project. Our firm conducted internal and external audits, a stakeholder analysis, a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis, and risk analysis. Our recommendations were implemented and helped improve project services and obtain a contract extension.
  • At the Military Sealift Command (MSC), BCI collaborated with management and staff to develop strategic business plans and balanced scorecards for the 31 organizational units. Our efforts helped create goals, set targets, and increase accountability for the units.
  • At the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), BCI facilitated two off-site conferences to plan the transition to the Standard Procurement System. Our firm led the development of several plans that helped ensure the agency’s smooth transition to the new system.
  • At the National Aeronautics Space Administration Goddard Space Flight Center (NASA GSFC) Cybersecurity Division, BCI facilitated SWOT brainstorming sessions that helped the division to identify significant issues and develop action plans including goals, strategies, tactics, measurements, and the assignment of resources.
